WE RETREAT TO COME BACK TO OURSELVES
Fitbirds retreats came to life in 2018 with the intention of creating a safe, calming and nurturing space for women. An offering to reset and rejuvenate. Together we flew to Portugal for our first retreat. As a group of 21 birds, we shared taxis & boarded flights together with a real anticipation of knowing something magical was about to happen. We connected as one flock, supported each other for 5 days, time slowed down. We shed unwanted feathers and grew new ones. To this day, our retreats are our fave date in the calendar.
As women we have an intrinsic desire to give and to care for everyone in our paths. How often do you really stop to refill your cup though? Not often enough, we know.
A Fitbirds retreat is a place of celebration, a place to laugh and to cry. We are an adventurous flock and our retreat schedules are full of movement, workshops, insanely good food, culture tops up and nature excursions.
Our retreats have two hosts, your founder Shani Yeend and co-owner and co-director Charlie Hayley, providing you with twice the support you deserve. You'll connect inwards, with your natural surroundings and with your birds. We choose venues which are homely and tasteful. We fly to locations which are remote & secluded.
As you return from our retreats you will feel a sense of rebirth, with a newfound energy to keep shining your light!
