XMAS TRUFFLES

 

Mostly-good-for-you Xmas food cheer!


So you're already familiar with these bad boys - the uber nutritious Mayan Bliss Balls are a great 3.30-itis fix. But slipping a few slightly more naughty ingredients in, make it just that much more spesh for Xmas.

M E T H O D
Put the chopped up chocolate and coconut oil into a bowl. Slowly heat the coconut cream in a pot over a low heat, then very slowly add to the chocolate. Stir gently. Stir in your vanilla or booze. cover with cling film and put in the fridge for at least 4hrs. Once set, take small spoonfuls and roll into balls and coat with coconut, almonds or cocoa. FYI I got 15 little pots of 5 truffles - there is only about 1tps sugar for each pot of 5 truffles - fully stoked!

I N G R E D I E N T S
+ 300gr dark chocolate
+ 3 Tbs coconut oil
+ 240ml coconut cream
+ a swig of brandy or a tsp vanilla bean/essence

To roll in...
+ dessicated coconut
+ flaked almonds
+ cocao/cocoa

Yum for yourself or cute as Xmas gifts packaged in a jar with some twine or ribbon, it's def not to late to roll and wrap!
