Our summer edition of our Mindful Supper Club was yet another spesh one. Cami (founder or La Maison Wellness) and partner in health, created an evening of meditation, yoga and a nourishing summer inspired supper with non-alcoholic cocktails to drool over.
Offering intentions of reflection of the summer months passed, moments to show gratitude for all that is yet to come and to simply be present for an evening together.
I am constantly amazed at the power we can harness when we actually become fully present, when we really listen to one another and when we be brave enough to share our experiences. The outcome is a community who supports one another and a community...
Kitchari is an ancient Ayurvedic healing dish, loaded with the perfect balance of spices to balance all dosha types and is loaded with grains which are super easy to digest.
The more we delve into the digestion/gut chat, the more we realise we are not alone. From eating on the run, making poor dietary choices to simply being stressed - gut health is noticeably grumbling in the foreground for many. Here is something we Birds vouch for and hope it helps you on your path to healing from the inside out.
Kitchari is a dish made of split mung beans, bastmati rice and the perfect balance of spices. Basmati rice and mung dal together create a balanced food that is a good pr...
Charlie Summers is the newest super Bird trainer to join our flock and is spreading her wings in & around Greenwich with classes held in the beautiful Oxleas Woods. Charlie's classes will energise you, lift your spirits and your peaches!
What kind of Bird are you?
I'm a little ball of energy bird!
Did you have a nickname growing up? When I was a kid, my nickname was Twiglet because I had knobbly knees.
What do you love the most about being a fitness trainer?
My biggest thrill is watching someone grow and achieve something they never thought was possible. I truly believe exercise is the best antidepressant out there and best drug you’ll ever take.
Our second edition of Mindful Supper Club was uplifting & inspiring. We gathered around the table at the beautiful Kemble House to share conversation, ideas and laughs. Enjoying a three course meal curated using seasonal ingredients and sipping on endless cocktails (low & non alcoholic) made with ingredients that are actually good for us! What the????
We took a moment to plant a seed of individual intention - it was a full moon after all! We wrote down a little secret intention, maybe a new habit we can make a little space for.

Looking around on a rare commuter-vile trip it’s impossible to ignore the repetitive silhouettes of humans with hunched shoulders & a stooped neck as they gaze at their phones. We got sh⚡️💥t to do right? We get it.
There’s a wealth of information on our little pocket computers - rewind (to just the other day) to being kids playing Lemmings & Finding Carmen Santiago on a MASSIVE square computer after school. Fast forward a measly few years, now we have access to it ALL, and crave it ALL, like ALL the time. 🤯
We all know that blue light messes with our heads. Our attention span is minimal, most of us find it a struggle to focus and read a novel. Ou...
You may of noticed when, last September a flock of brave, open & excited birds flew from their nests to a new home... a Portuguese one. The experience was so rewarding we are doing it again, this May 9-13th. Here are our 5 top reasons why we think you should join us for a trip you won't forget.
1. Straight up, IT IS PARADISE
Oh the serenity! 1.5hr drive from Lisbon airport is a sleepy little village, a rural, peaceful place to zen. White washed villages settled in the midst of rolling hills as far as the eye can see. Your home is a 500yr old family run agriturismo farm. Your rustic charming ensuite bedrooms used to be the stables and the farm animals graze by a...
What a beautiful start to 2019! I had the pleasure of co-hosting a weekend of day retreats with the mama bird, on her beautiful property in Tasmania. Our goal was to offer people a full day to nourish their body, mind & soul. We meditated, stretched & sweated together under the glorious Australian sun. We gathered fresh produce from my mums garden, prepared our meal & ate together in the fresh air - Straya your air is so fresh & so clean clean!
The experience was incredibly rewarding for me, to share this experience with my mum, who to paint a picture: used to drag a 6yr old me to her aerobics classes, the perfect 80's...
Sometimes I speak soooo much rubbish birds! Tho this time I’m actually reeling you in for the good shiz. We’re 6 months into the year 😱 so perhaps some bad eating habits have slipped their way back in.
Take a moment out of your crazy life to find some therapy in rolling these sweet balls of goodness, keep them in the fridge but then make sure you have them handy in your bag/office for those moments of 3.30its, rushing out the door without your breakfast or sneakily inhale it while you're stuck in those endless meetings.
